So here i am again, midnight wood and no man to help take the load off. *sigh* So anyways, i guess i'll just post a little. I recently got into an argument with one of my fellow posters on WWW.SHINRAONLINE.COM over some warcraft stuff, claiming that i don't know what i'm talking about even though he's done a bunch of research and has tried it for himself and i'm a flaming retard who's only shred of dignity was stripped when i tried to steal a box of cookies off of a girl scout...and... i don't want to talk about it anymore. Anyways i did some thinking

Expression Of My Love

My grandmother just died Saturday night. March 17, 2007. I wanna express my love for her through a poem. This will be different for me because, although I've written poems before, I'm more used to songs.

Expression of My Love

Now that you've returned
Into the sky above
I think it makes sense
To express all of my love

I know that it's certain
That you were great to me
Because now I'm left here hurtin'
Because you were all I need

I"m glad you're out of pain
It somewhat gives me peace
Through the sunshine and the rain
You steadily encouraged me

Life In 2007

This year has been big so far. My music and acting dreams are coming true. And I'm doing a lot more than I expected. I'm receiving so much unexpected exposure at my high school, that it is encouraging me to continue my activeness in the arts.

Here are a few of my accomplishments this year. :)

• I've placed in the All-District Choir. That was a great competition, although the competition was extremely heavy.
• I received a "1" rating in my solo/ensemble voice competition.
• I played a significant role in the high school musical version of the film "The Pajama Game"
• I received academic honors throughout the year.
• Along with these accomplishments, I have managed to keep my GPA @ a 3.95 out of 4.0

These events keep me moving in the music. I'm motivated for 2007; it has already been such a great year!!!

Josh Hurt's Musical Background

Josh Hurt is a 17 year old male who has been singing since the age of 5. He started singing in the church choir along with his many family members and friends. This started a musical life for him that he could not ever move away from.

Later on, at the age of 12, Josh Hurt started writing more seriously, although he did it for fun, starting at the age of 9. He started off with poems, that soon lead to songs. Although this was at a very young age, these songs had much meaning to him. His early R&B influences such as Dru Hill, Mariah Carey, Destiny's Child, Michael Jackson, and several more artists influenced his writing skills and styles. These songs were over topics such as liking, falling in love with, or even breaking up with a girl. These songs came from either imagination or true experiences. These topics still relates to the song he writes currently.

Now in 2007, Josh Hurt is finally ready to try at music. He's been a member of the choir at ever school and church he has attended. It is very evident that music is calling.



Now is the time to experiment with it and see how it comes out!
